Youth Digital Changes The Fashion Education Game

Fashion Education For Kids In The 90's

When I was growing up, I loved to draw clothes. I remember I had this small pink pad of sticky notes and I would draw outfits. I lately swooned when they came out with those figure drawings that you could draw clothes on. I never spent my piggy bank money on it because I didn't understand how I was supposed to draw clothing over the lines. I surely missed out on the children's education available online in today's world.

Today is a whole new world.

Youth Digital creates online courses for young people and have just added Fashion Design to their library. I love the focus on creativity in their courses. Students learn design skills but also express themselves all the while.  Creativity is something that you can only grow, not teach.  So practice in your own home at a young age will be very effective.  The innovation of fashion education is much needed, especially its introfuction to children.

More about Youth Digital

Youth Digital was founded in 2010 by Justin Richards, to educate and encourage the next generation of tech innovators through app and game design classes for students eight and up.  When demand for tech education outpaced what Richards and his team could offer on-site, Youth Digital began to offer online classes at YouthDigital.com  Today, more than 20,000 students from around the world are enrolled in Youth Digital's online classes in creative technology.
